14 Vehicles Booked for Dangerous Stunts in Mumbai Coastal Road Tunnel

The Marine Drive police have registered a case against 14 vehicles and their drivers for allegedly engaging in rash driving and performing dangerous stunts inside the Mumbai Coastal Road tunnel.

According to police, the incident took place when a group of youths travelling as part of an Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession passed through the coastal road tunnel. During the drive, several motorists were allegedly seen speeding, performing hazardous stunts on their cars, and committing multiple traffic violations.

Following the incident, the Marine Drive police initiated formal legal action against all 14 vehicles, which were mostly cars, as well as their respective drivers. The police registered an offence invoking Sections 125 and 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for rash and dangerous driving.

Police officials are currently reviewing video footage captured during the procession along with other available evidence to reconstruct the exact sequence of events. Authorities stated that the footage is being scrutinized to identify all individuals who participated in the stunts, and further investigation remains underway.
