3 Pilgrims From Kalyan and Dombivli Untraceable During Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Three pilgrims from Kalyan West and Dombivli East have reportedly gone untraceable in Nepal during the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026, leaving their families without any contact for three consecutive days.

The missing pilgrims have been identified as 60-year-old Sanjay Rajmal Patil and his 56-year-old wife Nalini Sanjay Patil, both residents of Kalyan West, along with 68-year-old Sunil Sudarshan Subhedar, a resident of Kasario Society in Nilje, Dombivli East. Subhedar is originally from Nagpur.

According to their families, continuous attempts to establish contact with the group over the past three days have failed. Phone calls made to the three individuals have gone unanswered, and no direct communication has been received. The exact location of the pilgrims and the cause behind the sudden communication breakdown remain unknown.

Anxiety has gripped the households in Kalyan and Dombivli, prompting the families to seek immediate assistance from government officials and relevant administrative bodies. They are urging authorities to step in, trace the group's whereabouts, establish contact, and ensure their safe passage back home.

Sunil Subhedar's son, Swanand Subhedar, issued an emotional appeal to the authorities to locate his father and ensure his safe return. Reaching out through his appeal, Swanand stated that the family is waiting for his father's return.

The relatives have formally appealed to the administration to coordinate with authorities in Nepal to take all necessary measures to locate the missing pilgrims. They have also requested regular updates from the ongoing search and any official findings regarding the group.

At present, there is no confirmed information regarding where the three pilgrims are stranded or what led to the disconnection in communication. The families continue to await official word, remaining hopeful that all three will be traced soon and returned safely.
