Aarey Police Rescue MP Teen Stranded Near Goregaon Film City

A 16-year-old boy from Madhya Pradesh who travelled to Mumbai to pursue a role on a television show was found stranded near Film City in Goregaon by the Aarey police.

The minor was identified as Paras Ratiram Verma, 16, a resident of Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh. According to the police, Verma told officers that he was fascinated by the television show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and had travelled to Mumbai with the goal of working in the popular serial.

Details provided by the police show that Verma left home on August 6. He travelled by train from Chhindwara to Nagpur and then took another train onwards to Mumbai. Upon learning that the television show was shot at Film City, he boarded a local train to Goregaon to reach the location.

Upon arriving at the spot, the teenager was unable to gain entry to Film City. Having been denied entry, he began roaming the surrounding area and became tired after remaining stranded outdoors for two days.

An Aarey police patrol team was subsequently alerted by the police control room about a minor seen wandering near Film City. Officers took the teenager to the Aarey police station, where they questioned him and learned about his journey to the city.

The police then contacted the teenager's family. His father informed officers that Verma had left home on August 6 under the pretext of going to school and was subsequently missing. An officer from the Aarey police station confirmed that the teenager was found tired after roaming, and that his father had been contacted and was travelling to Mumbai to collect him.
