Activist Vivek Tiwari's Hunger Strike Over Palghar Roads Enters Sixth Day

Cockroach Janta Party activist Vivek Tiwari's indefinite hunger strike over deteriorating road conditions and inadequate infrastructure in Palghar district entered its sixth day on Thursday outside the Vasai-Virar City Municipal Corporation headquarters in Virar.

The demonstration, organized under the banner of 'Sadak Satyagraha', was launched to highlight the persistent problem of pothole-ridden roads across the Vasai-Virar region. Tiwari has been staging the protest directly outside the civic administration's headquarters to demand urgent attention and repairs for the local road network.

According to details of the agitation, the protest continued for nearly a week as local roads remain in poor condition. The activist has focused his demands on addressing the civic infrastructure deficit and ensuring proper maintenance of transit routes in the area.

The ongoing hunger strike outside the civic body's central office in Virar underscores growing frustration regarding municipal road maintenance and basic transit infrastructure throughout Palghar's Vasai-Virar belt.
