Akbar Khan and Huzaifa Khorakiwala Launch Taj Mahal Film Re-Release in BKC

Filmmaker Akbar Khan and Dr Huzaifa Khorakiwala, founder of the I Am Peacekeeper Movement, launched the global journey of the 4K Dolby Atmos version of 'Taj Mahal – An Eternal Love Story' during an exclusive private screening on Aug 16 at Maison INOX, Jio World Plaza, in Bandra Kurla Complex.

The collaboration, supported by the Wockhardt Foundation, the I Am Peacekeeper Movement, and Mashreq Communications Ltd, connects the cinematic production with a humanitarian campaign promoting peace, compassion, and intercultural dialogue.

The private screening brought together diplomats, business leaders, and film industry figures. Attendees included Dr Habil Khorakiwala, chairman of Wockhardt Group, and Nafisa Khorakiwala; Dr Huzaifa Khorakiwala and Samina Khorakiwala; Dr Murtaza Khorakiwala and Umaima Khorakiwala; and filmmaker Ramesh Sippy with Kiran Juneja.

Several members of the diplomatic corps attended the Bandra Kurla Complex screening, including HE Ali Abdulaziz Al Balushi, consul general of Bahrain; HE Aliaksandr Matsukou, consul general of Belarus; HE Dahila Tawakol, consul general of Egypt; HE Ivan Y. Fetisov, consul general of the Russian Federation; HE Suleiman bin Eid Al-Otaibi, consul general of Saudi Arabia; HE Abdulla Husein Salman Mohd Al Marzooqi, consul general of the United Arab Emirates; and HE Yahya Yahya Saleh Ghobar, consul general of Yemen. Qatar vice consul general Mohammed Alkhelaifi and Russian vice consul generals Matvei Fetisov and Vladislav Morozov were also present.

The Mumbai screening serves as the launchpad for a phased international rollout following previous releases in Malaysia and Indonesia. The film is following a country-by-country strategy involving premiere screenings for constitutional and royal leadership before theatrical releases.
