Amrut Launches Initiative to Help Maharashtra Entrepreneurs Set Up EV Charging Stations

The Academy of Maharashtra Research, Upliftment and Training (Amrut) has launched a statewide initiative to help aspiring entrepreneurs establish electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The program, which offers training, technical guidance, and financial support, is being coordinated locally through the Amrut office located at Pundliknagar Road in the Hanumannagar area of CIDCO, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The initiative specifically targets youth, women entrepreneurs, self-help groups (SHGs), MSME units, farmer producer groups, and rural entrepreneurs who want to enter the rapidly growing EV sector.

Under the program, selected participants will receive comprehensive guidance on setting up and operating EV charging stations. This includes training on how to prepare business plans and project reports, understand technical specifications, access various government schemes, conduct market analysis, and manage daily business operations.

Amrut is implementing this program with the active support of Indian companies and industry experts. The initiative is designed to open up new business avenues in areas such as EV charging station installation, charging equipment maintenance, solar-powered charging facilities, and green energy services. It also covers EV technical support, franchise-based business models, and the creation of rural charging hubs.

To address financial barriers, eligible beneficiaries can access Amrut's personal loan interest reimbursement scheme to secure the necessary funding to start their businesses.

Beyond direct entrepreneurship, the initiative is expected to generate employment opportunities across several related fields. These include energy management, charging network operations, electrical maintenance, green energy projects, EV equipment sales, and technical services.

Interested candidates can apply or seek more information by visiting the Divisional Commissioner's Office, the District Collector's Office, or the Amrut office on Pundliknagar Road, Sector 4, CIDCO, Hanumannagar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. They can also contact officials directly at 7391065475 or 9403200606.
