ANC Arrests Suspect With 10 Kg Charas Worth Rs 10 Crore Near Bandra Terminus

The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) Worli Unit arrested a suspected drug trafficker and seized 10 kg of charas valued at Rs 10 crore near Bandra Terminus in Bandra (East) on Monday.
Acting on specific intelligence, ANC officials launched a search operation between 2:20 pm and 5:00 pm. During the operation in the area, the police team spotted a man behaving suspiciously near Bandra Terminus.
The suspect, identified as Santosh Sav, was intercepted and searched by the officers. During the search, police allegedly recovered 10 kilograms and 10 grams of charas from his possession. Sav was detained for his alleged involvement in the purchase, sale, supply, and storage of narcotic substances.
Following the seizure, Sav was booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. He was subsequently produced before a court and remanded to police custody.
According to the police, further investigation is currently underway to determine the exact source of the seized narcotics and to identify other individuals involved in the drug trafficking network.
