Arkade Developers Unveils ₹3,000 Crore Cluster Redevelopment in Borivali West

Arkade Developers is expanding its real estate portfolio across Mumbai's western suburbs with four new cluster redevelopment projects, headlined by a major development at Yogi Nagar – Plot B in Borivali West.

The Borivali West project is the largest among the newly added developments. Spread across approximately 24,165 square metres, it is projected to generate around 9 lakh square feet of saleable carpet area with an estimated turnover potential of approximately ₹3,000 crore.

Across the western suburbs, the four projects span a total area of about 45,204 square metres, or 11.17 acres, across Malad West, Kandivali West, Kandivali East, and Borivali West. Together, they account for an estimated total construction area of roughly 51 lakh square feet, a combined projected saleable carpet area of nearly 15 lakh square feet, and a potential turnover of approximately ₹5,000 crore.

In Kandivali, two projects are planned at Ashok Nagar in Kandivali East and Shankar Lane in Kandivali West. Covering approximately 12,611.5 square metres combined, these two sites are expected to provide around 3.5 lakh square feet of saleable carpet area, with an estimated Gross Development Value of ₹1,100 crore.

In Malad West, a separate redevelopment project will cover roughly 8,428 square metres. It is estimated to offer approximately 2.5 lakh square feet of saleable carpet area with an anticipated turnover potential of ₹900 crore.

Amit Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Arkade Developers Limited, said that cluster redevelopment allows multiple adjoining properties to be planned as larger unified developments rather than through piecemeal efforts.

"With rapid urbanisation, advancements in technology, and evolving consumer preferences, the industry is poised to redefine its trajectory," Jain said. He noted that redevelopment remains central to the company's growth in Mumbai's evolving urban landscape, referencing the recent completion of Arkade Eden in Malad West where the Occupancy Certificate was received ahead of schedule.

The developer stated that these additions will further consolidate its footprint in residential redevelopment across the western suburban belt.
