Army Agniveer recruitment rally to begin in Mumbra on July 20

The Indian Army will commence an Agniveer recruitment rally at the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Sports Stadium in Mumbra, Thane, starting July 20. Organized by the Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Mumbai, the rally is for shortlisted candidates from eight districts of Maharashtra who qualified the online Common Entrance Examination under the Agnipath Scheme.

Candidates from Nandurbar, Dhule, Nashik, Thane, Palghar, Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburban, and Raigad districts will participate in the recruitment drive. The rally will enable these candidates to undergo physical fitness tests, physical measurement tests, physical efficiency-related events, and medical examinations for recruitment into the Indian Army.

According to the ARO Mumbai, the results of the online Common Entrance Examination are expected to be declared soon. Shortlisted candidates will be provided with admit cards or call letters detailing their specific reporting dates and times. The ARO advised candidates to regularly monitor the official Indian Army recruitment website and check their registered email addresses and mobile phones for updates.

Candidates must ensure that all required original documents are kept ready well in advance of their reporting times. Required paperwork includes educational certificates, domicile certificates, caste certificates, character certificates, and other documents specified in the admit card to avoid any inconvenience during reporting at the stadium.

The ARO Mumbai has also advised all candidates to maintain the required standards of physical fitness and medical health. Candidates must report strictly on the date and time mentioned in their respective admit cards. No candidate will be permitted to participate in the recruitment process on any date other than the one specified.

Additionally, the Army has cautioned candidates against falling prey to unscrupulous individuals or touts who make false claims about securing recruitment. An Army spokesperson emphasized that the recruitment process is fair, transparent, merit-based, and entirely computerized, with selection based solely on candidate performance and eligibility.
