Art Mumbai 4th Edition to Host 94 Exhibitors at Mahalaxmi Racecourse
The fourth edition of Art Mumbai will take place from November 12 to 15 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, marking the fair's largest iteration to date with the participation of 94 exhibitors.
The modern and contemporary art fair will host 73 Indian and 21 international galleries. Among the international participants, six galleries are making their debut at the fair, including Perrotin, Richard Saltoun, Night Gallery, Rizq Art Gallery, Niru Ratnam, and Rajiv Menon Contemporary. Returning international participants include Lisson Gallery and Galleria Continua.
The Indian contingent will feature 62 returning galleries, such as Experimenter, Chemould Prescott Road, DAG, Nature Morte, and Vadehra Art Gallery. Additionally, 11 Indian exhibitors are set to debut this year, including Gallery Maskara, Phillips Antiques, Pristine Contemporary, Muziris Contemporary, Kumar Gallery, and Gallery Veda.
In a collective statement, co-founders Minal Vazirani, Dinesh Vazirani, Nakul Dev Chawla, and Conor Macklin noted the fair's expansion over the years. They highlighted that over three editions, the platform has grown in scale and reach while maintaining a focus on discovering artists, ideas, and new works, providing a space where collections take shape as audiences engage with art in diverse ways.
The upcoming edition will showcase works by established modern masters, contemporary practitioners, and emerging artists to present a broad perspective on the region's art landscape.
In addition to the gallery booths, the event will host cultural programming including sculpture showcases, performances, and guided walks designed to offer visitors detailed insight into the featured artists and practices. The fair's 'Speaker Series' will convene artists, curators, collectors, and cultural figures to discuss developments across the Indian and South Asian art ecosystems. Expanded foundation presentations, including exhibits from the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art and the Saffronart Foundation, will also be featured during the four-day event.
