Aryan Gupta Secures AIR 1 As NTA Releases Competitive NEET UG 2026 Results

The National Testing Agency (NTA) officially released the detailed results, the comprehensive topper list, the All India Rank (AIR) rankings, and the final cut-offs for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2026 on July 17, 2026. The announcement has brought intense focus to Mumbai and the rest of the country, as the performance analysis reveals one of the most highly competitive editions of the medical entrance examination in recent years.
According to the data released by the National Testing Agency, the exam witnessed intense competition among nearly 20 lakh medical aspirants who registered and appeared for the test. In the individual achievements, Aryan Gupta from Punjab secured the prestigious All India Rank (AIR) 1. Gupta achieved a near-perfect percentile score of 99.9999, placing him at the pinnacle of the national-level examination.
Following closely behind, Panshul Bansal from Haryana claimed the All India Rank (AIR) 2. Bansal secured an identical percentile score of 99.9999, tying with the top ranker in terms of percentile but taking the second spot in the final rankings.
The All India Rank (AIR) 3 was secured by Uplakshya Goyal, representing Rajasthan. Goyal achieved a percentile score of 99.99985, which was only a fraction of a percent behind the top two rank holders.
The release of these detailed results and the performance analysis by the National Testing Agency on July 17, 2026, marks the conclusion of a highly anticipated examination cycle for nearly 20 lakh aspirants across the nation.
