BEST Issues Guidelines for Temporary Power Connections for Ganeshotsav 2026

The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport Undertaking (BEST) has issued guidelines for public Ganeshotsav mandals seeking temporary electricity connections for their pandals in Mumbai ahead of Ganeshotsav 2026.

In the guidelines issued by Public Relations Officer (in-charge) Sunil Vaidya, the undertaking detailed the complete application process, required documentation, safety rules, fees, deposits, and the tariff structure for temporary power connections.

To assist organisers, BEST has set up facilitation desks across all its Customer Service departments to accept applications for temporary electricity connections.

Mandals can also register their applications online through the BEST website. Organisers must then submit a physical printout of the online application at the concerned Customer Service department along with the required documents and signed undertakings.
