BJP Accuses Congress of Paying Influencers for Rahul Gandhi's Pune Event

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday accused the Congress party of paying social media influencers to mobilise crowds for Rahul Gandhi's student event in Pune, labelling the programme "Paise Ki Goonj".

The Congress dismissed the allegations, maintaining that the claims were unfounded.

Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant stated that the BJP was "rattled" by Rahul Gandhi's growing support among young people, particularly among members of Gen Z.

The political confrontation follows the student-focused programme in Pune as both parties traded accusations over crowd mobilisation and youth engagement.
