BMC Demolishes Illegal Alterations in 9 Flats at Rustomjee Crown in Prabhadevi

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) carried out a demolition drive targeting unauthorised constructions and alterations across nine flats at the Rustomjee Crown building in Prabhadevi.

The enforcement action was conducted over two days on August 24 and August 25, 2026, according to an official statement issued by the civic body.

The civic administration initiated the drive after officials detected multiple violations of the approved building plan along with breaches of Floor Space Index (FSI) regulations in the residential building.

The BMC confirmed that the removal of all unauthorised structural additions and alterations across the nine flats was completed during the two-day operation.
