BMC Organises Tiranga and E-Bike Rallies Across Mumbai Wards

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has organised a series of civic activities across Mumbai, including Tiranga and e-bike rallies across administrative wards, as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign held from August 9 to 17 to mark Independence Day 2026.

This year's drive also commemorates 150 years of the national song 'Vande Mataram'. The civic body is conducting various awareness activities throughout the city to promote patriotism and educate the public about the national flag.

As part of the ongoing drive, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has issued an appeal to Mumbaikars across all wards to actively participate in the campaign by hoisting the national flag at their homes.

The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign has been conducted by the Central government since 2022 to encourage public involvement in national celebrations. The local events organised by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation continue this initiative across Mumbai.
