BMC Rolls Out Free Health Check-Up Drive Across Mumbai Ganesh Mandals

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a series of festival measures across Mumbai, headlined by a free health check-up initiative at sarvajanik (public) Ganesh mandals for the upcoming Ganeshotsav celebrations.
The health drive, titled 'Shri Ganesha Arogyacha', has been planned under the concept of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The project is backed by financial and organizational support from both the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and the Mumbai Mayor’s Medical Fund.
Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde stated that free health check-up camps will be set up directly at or near public Ganesh mandals throughout the city during the festival period to provide accessible medical evaluations to devotees and local residents.
In addition to the public health camps, the civic body's festival preparations encompass broader safety and eco-friendly measures to manage the large-scale gatherings and events scheduled across Mumbai.
