Byculla Zoo to Stay Open on August 26 for Eid-e-Milad, Close on August 27

Mumbai's Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Udyan and Zoo in Byculla will remain open to the public on Wednesday, August 26, on account of the Eid-e-Milad public holiday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced on Monday.

The Byculla facility typically observes its weekly closure every Wednesday. However, under a previously approved BMC resolution, if a public holiday coincides with a Wednesday, the botanical garden and zoo remain open to visitors for the day.

In accordance with the municipal resolution, the zoo and botanical garden will instead remain closed to the public the following day, on Thursday, August 27.
