Car Crashes Into Marol Gym Entrance Injuring 21-Year-Old Receptionist

On Thursday evening, a car crashed into the entrance of Fitness Boss The Gym in Marol, near the Kanakia Rainforest complex, leaving a 21-year-old receptionist injured. The accident occurred at approximately 5:00 PM after the driver of the vehicle lost control while descending a steep slope in the area.
The receptionist, identified as Sania Khan, was seated at the gym’s reception desk when the vehicle suddenly crashed through the front entrance. Vikas Singh, a trainer at Fitness Boss The Gym, reported that Khan was injured in the collision. Following the impact, she was transported to a hospital to receive medical attention for an arm injury.
Local resident Intekhab Farooqui, who is also the state vice-president of the Vahatuk Sena (UBT), witnessed the circumstances leading up to the crash. Farooqui noted that the driver was struggling to control the car on the slope near the Kanakia Rainforest complex. According to Farooqui, the driver was supposed to execute a left turn after coming down the slope but instead went straight and crashed directly into the gym.
In the aftermath of the incident, the gym's management stated that they intend to file a formal police complaint against the unnamed driver of the car. The entrance of the gym suffered damage as a result of the crash.
The accident has prompted local residents to demand safety interventions. Farooqui stated that Marol residents will soon organize a meeting with traffic police officials to address the hazards posed by the steep incline in the SevenHills area. The residents plan to discuss various measures to avoid such accidents in the future, including the potential installation of safety signboards along the slope to alert motorists.
