Case Registered Against Fake Doctor Running Shri Krishna Clinic in Virar

The Bolinj police have registered a case against a man for allegedly operating a clinic and treating patients without any valid medical degree or registration in the Padmavati Nagar locality of the Bolinj area in Virar. The action followed a joint initiative by local civic health officials and the police, resulting in a raid and the seizure of a large quantity of medicines.

The accused, identified as Dr. Chhedilal Yadav, was running the Shri Krishna Clinic, which is located near Shivam Medical Store in Padmavati Nagar. According to officials, Yadav was posing as a medical professional and offering treatments to unsuspecting patients without the requisite legal or educational qualifications.

The matter came to light during an inspection conducted by a medical team from the Health Department of the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation. The team was actively inspecting various clinics across the Padmavati Nagar area when they visited the Shri Krishna Clinic.

During the inspection, the civic body's medical team questioned Yadav and requested his medical credentials. Yadav failed to produce any recognized educational qualifications or registration documents required to legally practice medicine.

Following the inspection, the medical team alerted the local police. A subsequent search of the clinic led to the seizure of a significant stock of allopathic medicines. The seized items included various injections, antibiotics, syrups, tablets, and other medical drugs that were being prescribed and administered to patients.

A formal complaint was lodged by Dr. Pranjali Suresh Pipale, the 36-year-old Medical Officer of the Bolinj Urban Primary Health Centre. Based on her complaint, the Bolinj police registered a case against Yadav.

An investigation into the clinic's operations and Yadav's activities is currently underway. Local authorities have reiterated that strict legal action will be taken against any individuals found providing medical treatments or running healthcare facilities without the proper professional qualifications and registrations.
