Central Railway Services Hit After Man Climbs Overhead Wire at Ghatkopar Station

Suburban and express train services on Mumbai's Central Railway network were disrupted on Tuesday evening after a 30-year-old man climbed onto an overhead wire at Ghatkopar railway station.
The incident took place on Platform 3 at Ghatkopar during the peak evening rush hour, coming into direct contact with the railway infrastructure and affecting operations on the fast line heading towards Kalyan.
According to railway officials, the disruption occurred during one of the busiest travel periods of the day. The resulting halt in movement caused delays to both local suburban trains and express services operating across the Central Railway corridor.
