Chandivali Residents Hold Sadbuddhi Havan Over Pending 700-Metre Road Project

Residents of Synchronicity CHSL in Chandivali performed a "Sadbuddhi Havan" on Sunday afternoon to protest civic inaction over a long-pending connector road in the neighbourhood.

The demonstration was organised under the banner of the Chandivli Citizens Welfare Association. Local residents turned to the ritual as a symbolic appeal for divine intervention, stating they hoped to impart wisdom and good sense to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation regarding the stalled infrastructure project.

The protest centred on the delayed development of a proposed 700-metre road stretch planned to connect the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) with Chandivli Farm Road.

According to the participating residents, the demonstration was organised as a last resort to remind the civic body of the long-standing demand to complete the road work and ease local connectivity issues in the area.
