Chembur Holds Drug Awareness Rally Under Drugs Free Mumbai Campaign 2026

Around 400 to 450 people, including school students, local residents, peace committee members, and volunteers, participated in an awareness rally in Chembur on Friday as part of the Maharashtra government's Drugs Free Mumbai Campaign 2026.

The event aimed to build public awareness and community participation against the use of illicit substances across the neighbourhood.

The rally was organised under the guidance of the Mumbai Police Commissioner. Coordination on the ground was led by senior police officials from the Eastern Regional Division, Eastern Region-1, and the Chembur police station.
