CIDCO Announces 4,779 EWS Homes Scheme in Taloja, Kharghar and Kalamboli

The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced a new housing scheme offering 4,779 homes for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) across Taloja Sector 39, Kalamboli, and Kharghar in Navi Mumbai. Online registrations for the affordable housing project are scheduled to open at 11 am on August 15, 2026.

The housing inventory is distributed across three key locations in Navi Mumbai. The largest share of the project is located at Taloja Sector 39, which comprises 4,229 units. The remaining inventory includes 257 homes situated at the Kalamboli Bus Depot and 293 homes at the Kharghar Bus Depot. A dedicated portion of the total housing inventory has been reserved for applicants with disabilities.

Speaking on the initiative, a CIDCO official stated that the corporation's core objective is to provide affordable housing equipped with strong connectivity and essential urban infrastructure, particularly for the economically weaker sections of society. The official added that the scheme aims to give eligible families the opportunity to own a home in well-connected nodes across Navi Mumbai.

Eligibility criteria for the scheme require applicants to have a total annual family income of up to Rs 6 lakh. In addition, applicants must not own a pucca house anywhere in India. CIDCO confirmed that detailed eligibility rules, required documentation, and specific terms and conditions will be made available on its official housing portal.

Pricing details for individual homes and all associated charges are set to be published on the housing portal before the online registration process officially begins. The official portal currently lists the August 2026 scheme with the full inventory of 4,779 homes.

All three project sites benefit from multi-modal transit options, including road, rail, and metro connectivity. Furthermore, the developments are located close to the Navi Mumbai International Airport, providing convenient access to major residential, commercial, and transportation hubs in the surrounding region.

CIDCO clarified that the allotment of homes will be conducted strictly through a structured process. Units will be allotted only after thorough verification of applicant eligibility, scrutiny of submitted documents, and complete fulfilment of all prescribed conditions.

Prospective applicants interested in the scheme have been advised to visit CIDCO's official housing portal at www.cidcohomes.com to complete their registration and access the latest updates regarding the application process.
