CM Devendra Fadnavis Orders Action Plan to Promote Marathi Language
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed the State Marathi Development Institute to prepare and implement an effective action plan for the preservation, promotion, and development of the Marathi language. The Chief Minister issued these instructions on 20 July, 2026, during a meeting held at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai.
The meeting was attended by the members of the governing council of the State Marathi Development Institute.
