CM Devendra Fadnavis Reviews Bullet Train and Vadhvan Port Projects in Palghar

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis conducted a comprehensive review of several major infrastructure projects currently underway or proposed in the Palghar district. The high-level visit focused on key developments aimed at transforming the region's transport connectivity and economic landscape.
Accompanied by a team of senior officials, Chief Minister Fadnavis personally inspected the sites of multiple high-profile projects. The review included the proposed Vadhvan Port and the ongoing Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project, both of which are central to the state's long-term transit plans.
In addition to these major transit projects, the Chief Minister also assessed the plans for the proposed Vadhvan International Airport. He further reviewed the progress and planning of key road and bridge connections in the district, specifically the Naringi Creek Bridge and the Uttan-Virar Sea Bridge, which are set to improve local transport corridors.
Following the site inspections, Chief Minister Fadnavis held discussions with the accompanying senior officials. He issued strict directions to the administration to ensure the timely execution of all these projects, emphasizing that delays must be avoided to keep the development on track.
According to Chief Minister Fadnavis, this massive infrastructure push will significantly boost the development of the Palghar district. He noted that the successful completion of these projects will strengthen the transport, logistics, and economic ecosystem across the entire state of Maharashtra.
