CM Fadnavis Launches Campus Connect Campaign in Nerul to Fight Drug Abuse

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched the 'Campus Connect' anti-drug initiative at the D Y Patil University Centre of Excellence in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, on Saturday.

The initiative has been organised by the Navi Mumbai Police as part of their broader 'Nasha-Mukt Navi Mumbai' campaign, aimed at raising awareness among college students regarding the dangers of drug abuse.

Speaking at the launch event in Nerul, Fadnavis urged students to strictly stay away from narcotics and instead dedicate their energy toward positive pursuits, including education, sports, skill development, and nation-building.

The Campus Connect drive focuses on engaging directly with youth across college campuses to curb substance abuse and build a drug-free environment in the city through active police-student interaction.
