'Cocktail 2' Smashes Past Rs 100 Crore Mark Worldwide On Day 6

The Hindi film 'Cocktail 2' has officially crossed the Rs 100 crore milestone in cumulative global box office earnings on its sixth day of release. In theatres across Mumbai and worldwide, the film achieved the major box office landmark despite drawing mixed reactions from the audience.

The movie, which stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, is directed by Homi Adajania. It enjoyed a strong opening weekend, raking in Rs 47.5 crore net domestically over its first three days of release.

Following its debut weekend, the film witnessed an expected decline in daily earnings on Monday. On its fourth day in theatres, 'Cocktail 2' collected approximately Rs 6.75 crore. However, the box office numbers held steady on Day 5, allowing the film to maintain its momentum as it approached the end of its debut week.

By Day 6, the cumulative global collections of 'Cocktail 2' successfully smashed past the Rs 100 crore mark. The film is currently eyeing a domestic total of Rs 75 crore. This target comes as the movie faces upcoming competition, with advance bookings for the Akshay Kumar-led film 'Welcome to the Jungle' scheduled to open later this week.

The milestone solidifies a successful first week for the Homi Adajania directorial, which continues to draw audiences to theatres globally.
