Congress to Hold 10-Day Training Camp for District Presidents in Nashik

The Congress will organise a 10-day residential training camp for district Congress committee presidents in Nashik from August 24 to September 2. The initiative is being conducted under the banner of 'Sanghatan Srujan Abhiyan' to strengthen the party's organisational framework across the state.

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will provide special guidance to the participants during the programme. The camp is organised under the leadership of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) training department as part of the procedure for selecting and appointing district presidents.

The training curriculum will focus on the Congress's vision, long-term political direction, organisational preparedness, and core ideology, alongside its role in national politics. Discussions will also address the various political and structural challenges currently facing the organisation.

The programme aims to deliberate on contemporary political issues while paying specific attention to the views, expectations, and concerns of younger party workers. Eminent scholars and experts from various fields across the state and national levels will address the attending district chiefs.

Member of Parliament Shashikant Senthil, chairman of the National War Room, will conduct dedicated sessions spanning three days. Senior party leaders from Maharashtra and the national level, including Maharashtra Congress president Harshvardhan Sapkal, are also scheduled to interact with the trainees.

The entire training camp in Nashik will be supervised and managed by the AICC training team led by Sachin Rao.
