Cross-FIRs Filed After Road-Rage Clash Near Agar Bazaar in Dadar West

A road-rage incident near Agar Bazaar in Dadar West on Sunday night led to cross-complaints between two groups, with both sides alleging assault and verbal abuse.
According to the First Information Reports (FIRs), the incident occurred between 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm. The altercation began when a scooterist allegedly came in front of an SUV carrying a family that was returning from Grant Road after visiting Ganpati. A heated argument broke out between both parties immediately following the traffic dispute.
Purva Phutak, 28, alleged in her complaint that she was verbally abused and physically assaulted by a group comprising several women and a man. She further claimed that several unidentified individuals joined the altercation and assaulted her companions at the scene.
The other party involved in the dispute filed a counter-complaint with the police, stating that they were the ones assaulted during the road-rage confrontation.
The Dadar Police have registered both complaints and launched an investigation into the cross-allegations made by both sides.
