David Dhawan Directs Varun Dhawan in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai

The official plot details and cast lineup for director David Dhawan’s upcoming Bollywood film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, have been revealed. The movie stars Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde in lead roles, bringing a new romantic comedy-drama to audiences.

The storyline follows Jaswinder, also known as Jass, played by Varun Dhawan. Jass works as a wedding photographer and falls in love with Bani, played by Mrunal Thakur, during her sister's wedding. After a successful courtship, Bani is charmed by him, and the couple gets married.

However, the marriage faces trouble five years later. Bani files for a divorce because Jass wants to start a family and have a child, an idea that Bani is strongly against. The legal case goes before a judge, played by Ali Asgar, who decides to annul the marriage for a period of six months in the hope that the couple will reconcile their differences.

Despite the judge's intervention, Bani remains firm in her decision to separate from Jass. A heartbroken Jass subsequently relocates to London to start a new life. In London, he meets Preet, portrayed by Pooja Hegde, and the two begin dating.

Just as Jass's life seems to be moving on, a major twist occurs. Bani unexpectedly arrives at Jass's residence in London and announces that she is pregnant with his child. On the exact same day, Preet also reveals to Jass that she is expecting a baby. The film explores the chaotic situations that arise from Jass finding himself with two pregnant partners simultaneously.

Promotional materials for the film have begun rolling out, including a song titled "Chunnari Chunnari – Let’s Go". The movie’s promotional campaign also features various photos and videos showcasing the cast, including movie stills of Pooja Hegde.
