Delivery Rider Filmed Urinating in Chembur Apartment Lift, Police Complaint Filed

Residents of Akshay Paradise Society in Tilak Nagar, Chembur, have filed a complaint with the police after a food delivery rider was allegedly captured on CCTV urinating inside an elevator and drinking it from his hand.

The incident came to light after people living in the building noticed a foul smell emanating from the lift. Suspecting an issue, residents reviewed the society's CCTV footage to determine the source of the odor and discovered the delivery worker carrying out the act inside the cabin.

According to the security footage, which was also circulated online through the Instagram handle of binu.v.1, two delivery workers originally entered the elevator together while heading to different flats in the society. The worker dressed in blue did not engage in the act while the other delivery person remained inside the lift with him.

As soon as the second delivery worker stepped out onto a floor, the rider in blue unzipped himself and began urinating. Before doing so, he appeared to check his surroundings to see whether any security cameras were installed. After noticing the camera, the rider turned his back towards it and continued urinating inside the elevator, with the footage showing him drinking it from his hand.

The recorded footage caused widespread concern among the residents of Akshay Paradise Society. In an attempt to identify the individual involved, residents checked the building's visitor logbooks and visitor records.

Following the review of the records, society members approached the police to register a formal complaint about the incident. No official response has been issued by the food delivery platform regarding the matter.
