DN Nagar Police Step In Over Guest Entry Dispute at Uorfi Javed's Mumbai Society

Officials from the DN Nagar Police Station intervened at the residential society of reality TV personality Uorfi Javed in Mumbai following her complaints over restrictions placed on visitors entering the premises.

The issue began on September 2, when Javed publicly raised concerns regarding a newly enforced regulation at her housing society. Describing the situation on social media, she wrote, "So my society has a new rule, no guests allowed after 10 pm and even for interviews or shoot they will not allow anyone unless the owner has emailed them."

Javed alleged that visitors heading to her residence were physically obstructed by society management. Expressing her anger over the incident, she posted, "They physically stopped people from entering my house. I don’t know how is this even legal? You cannot physically stop someone entering my residential premises." Tagging the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and the Mumbai Police, she questioned the legality of the measure, asking, "How is this rule even legal?"

Following the complaint, the Mumbai Police initiated action. On Thursday, September 3, Javed shared an update with her followers by posting a video on her Instagram Story, revealing that an inspector had contacted her and was visiting her residence to look into the dispute. She praised the department's prompt turnaround, noting that personnel arrived to address the issue the day after she raised it.

In the video update addressing her fans, Javed said, "Hats off to the Mumbai Police. Kal tweet kiya aaj neeche aa gayi hai. Meri baat ho gayi hai, the inspector contacted me and wo neeche aa rahe hain. Let's see what happens." She added, "I'll keep you updated."

Javed also took to X to post a message expressing her gratitude to the authorities for stepping in, writing, "Mumbai police swiftly responded to my tweet and came to my residence to solve the matter!"

Acknowledging the local personnel and leadership, she further added, "Hopefully this will be resolved swiftly! Specially thank you to DN Nagar police station and senior inspector Sachin Gawas ji. Thank you so much."
