Drishyam 3 Starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu Wraps Filming Ahead of October Release

The upcoming Bollywood film 'Drishyam 3', starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, has officially wrapped up its final shooting schedule and entered the post-production phase. The film is currently on track for its planned theatrical release later this year on October 2, 2026.

Director Abhishek Pathak recently shared the production milestone on social media, posting behind-the-scenes visuals from the film sets to confirm that a major phase of principal photography has been completed. The film serves as the Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam 'Drishyam' franchise, which stars Mohanlal.

In a recent interview, director Abhishek Pathak and producer Kumar Mangat Pathak shared updates about the project's current status. The filmmakers noted that they are now focusing on minor remaining elements of the production. "We are currently working on some patchwork and will release it on October 2," they said, adding that there is significant excitement surrounding the upcoming film.

The filmmakers also highlighted that the Hindi adaptation will feature a different narrative style compared to its Malayalam counterpart. Pathak explained that the creative team developed a unique track specifically tailored for Hindi audiences.

"The Malayalam version focuses more on family drama, while the Hindi version will lean more towards a family thriller. That’s the fabric of the film," Pathak said. He added that when the trailer releases, audiences will see how different the two worlds are.

Actor Prakash Raj, who also stars in the film, previously shared an update after finishing his portions of the shoot. On May 23, the actor posted a picture from the sets featuring a 'Drishyam 3' clapboard. In his post, Raj expressed his enjoyment of the project, writing that he had wrapped up a fantastic shoot with a wonderful team.

Filming for the Hindi adaptation of 'Drishyam 3' reportedly commenced in Goa in December. Meanwhile, the Malayalam version of the film was released in theatres in May 2026 and performed strongly at the worldwide box office. The Hindi version is being produced under Panorama Studios.
