Dronagiri ROB Lane Closed From August 21 to October 31 for Structural Repairs

One traffic lane of the Railway Over Bridge (ROB) near MSEB Colony and the Gas Turbine Power Station (GTPS) in Dronagiri, Navi Mumbai, will remain closed from August 21 to October 31 to facilitate urgent structural repair works, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) announced.
The maintenance work is focused on the reinforced earth (RE) wall and the approach slab section of the bridge infrastructure. To enable the execution of these critical repairs without endangering motorists, the Navi Mumbai Traffic Police has granted the required no-objection certificate (NOC) for the temporary single-lane closure.
CIDCO has appealed to commuters and motorists travelling through the Dronagiri stretch to cooperate with the temporary traffic arrangements and use the designated alternative lane provided at the site. Drivers have been urged to exercise extra caution and strictly manage their vehicle speeds while approaching and navigating the diversion.
"Motorists are requested to cooperate during the repair period and use the designated alternative lane. They should drive at a reduced speed and ensure that vehicle blinkers and reflective strips are used while passing through the diversion," CIDCO stated.
The lane restriction will remain operational through October 31, subject to the pace and completion of the structural repair work.
