Eknath Shinde Directs Maharashtra Education Department to Work in Mission Mode

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has directed the state's School Education Department to operate in "mission mode" to overhaul the education system, following a detailed review meeting held at Nandanvan Bungalow in Mumbai on Saturday.
The directive focuses on modernising schools, strengthening teacher training, and supporting the holistic development of students across the state. Implementation of the proposed time-bound action plan will be tracked through weekly review sessions.
The instructions were issued during a four-hour review meeting attended by School Education Minister Dada Bhuse alongside senior officials from the Education Department.
During the session, department officials presented briefings to Shinde regarding various ongoing educational initiatives, schemes, and the overall progress achieved by the department.
