Fadnavis Cites 8.8% Growth Rate at Mantralaya Independence Day Address

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis hoisted the national flag at Mantralaya in Mumbai on Saturday to mark the 80th Independence Day, asserting that Maharashtra will play a crucial role in India's journey towards becoming a "Viksit Bharat".
Addressing the gathering at the state secretariat, Fadnavis highlighted the state's economic performance and its ongoing contribution to the country's development. He noted that Maharashtra remains the largest economy in India and registered an economic growth rate of around 8.8 per cent in the first half of the year.
Fadnavis also stated that the state has emerged as a major destination for startups and investments, creating substantial opportunities for young people.
