Father of Thane man killed on local train demands death penalty for accused

The father of a 22-year-old man who was fatally stabbed on a local train has demanded the death penalty for the accused. The tragedy, which has shocked residents in Thane, reportedly began after an argument broke out over a coach door.
According to reports, the dispute escalated into a violent physical confrontation on the Mumbai local train, leading to the death of the young victim.
Following the incident, local authorities launched an investigation to track down the assailant. The police subsequently apprehended the accused, who works as an airport cargo worker, in Panvel.
The victim’s father has since made a public appeal for the ultimate punishment, pointing to video evidence of the attack.
"See video, look at the way he attacked him," the father said.
The family of the 22-year-old continues to seek justice as the arrested airport cargo worker remains in police custody.
