Fire Breaks Out on 11th Floor of Vile Parle Building, Four Rescued

A fire broke out on the 11th floor of a multi-storey building in Vile Parle (West) on Tuesday night, prompting a swift response from emergency services. The blaze occurred at the ground-plus-12-storey Shanta Bhavan Building, located on Baptista Road and Church Road near St Xavier School.

Four people, including two women, one man, and a child, were rescued from the high-rise structure during the operation. All four individuals were subsequently taken to Nanavati Hospital for medical care.

According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade, the incident was reported at approximately 10.02 pm. Emergency services rushed to the spot immediately to initiate firefighting and rescue measures on the upper level of the building.

Firefighters carried out operations at the scene to contain the blaze on the 11th floor and ensure the safety of the building's occupants.
