Fire Guts Preeti Sandwich Shop Near Talao Pali in Naupada, Damages Power DP

A fire broke out at Preeti Sandwich near Talao Pali in the Naupada area of Thane West on Tuesday evening, gutting the eatery and damaging an adjacent Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) distribution point. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The Thane fire department received an alert regarding the blaze at 8:07 PM on Tuesday. The fire originated at Preeti Sandwich, which is owned by Harish Gupta and located next to Chintamani Jewellers near Talao Pali.

Flames from the eatery quickly spread to the neighboring power infrastructure, affecting the MSEDCL distribution point (DP) situated right next to the sandwich shop. Firefighters worked to contain the blaze and successfully brought it under control by 8:50 PM.

Officials confirmed that the fire was extinguished without any casualties or injuries to individuals in the vicinity, though the shop sustained severe damage and the electrical distribution installation was affected.
