Former Virar Municipal President Pradeep Tendulkar Escapes Nepal Flash Floods

Former Virar Municipal President Pradeep Tendulkar and his entire tour group narrowly escaped a major disaster in Nepal after a devastating flash flood struck the region they were visiting.

Tendulkar and his group had travelled to Mount Kailash on August 22 on a pilgrimage tour. During their journey through Nepal, the group had been staying at a local hotel situated in the area that was subsequently hit by the flood disaster.

Tragedy was averted because Tendulkar and his fellow travellers checked out and left the hotel just one day before the disaster struck. The powerful flow of floodwater later completely washed away the hotel where the group had been accommodated.

All members of the group escaped unhurt and were confirmed safe following the incident. After leaving the flood-hit area, the group continued on their scheduled journey to proceed with their Kedarnath pilgrimage.

Tendulkar later shared a video detailing the devastating incident, describing the group's narrow escape and confirming that everyone travelling with him was safe.
