Four Trains Short-Terminated at Thane and Dadar as CSMT Block Extended to September 5

Central Railway has extended the traffic and power block at Platform 16 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) until September 5, leading to the short-termination of four Mail and Express trains at Thane and Dadar instead of their regular destination.
The measure has been implemented to facilitate the ongoing Mumbai CSMT redevelopment project. The latest announcement marks the fifth extension of the traffic and power block at the major railway terminus.
Under the revised schedule, the four affected Mail and Express services will continue to conclude their journeys at intermediate stops at Dadar and Thane rather than running all the way to CSMT through the duration of the extended block.
