IMD Forecasts Light Rain for Thane and Neighbouring Districts

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rainfall for Thane, Palghar, and Raigad districts, while neighbouring Mumbai is expected to experience light to moderate showers under generally cloudy skies on Sunday, August 23.

According to the weather forecasting agency, the region woke up to partly cloudy conditions on Sunday morning before the forecast indicated intermittent spells of rainfall continuing throughout the day.

The IMD stated that monsoon conditions remain active across the city and its neighbouring areas. While Thane, Palghar, and Raigad are likely to see light showers, Mumbai has been forecast to experience generally cloudy skies accompanied by light to moderate rain.

Residents across the metropolitan region and adjoining districts can expect intermittent spells of rain to persist as part of the ongoing monsoon activity.
