IMD Forecasts Light to Moderate Rain Across Thane and Mumbai

Thane and adjoining Mumbai regions woke up to cloudy skies on Sunday, August 30, with the India Meteorological Department forecasting spells of light to moderate rainfall across the area during the day.

According to the weather department's latest forecast, the region will witness partly cloudy to generally cloudy conditions. Temperatures are expected to hover between a low of 26.7 degrees Celsius and a high of 31.5 degrees Celsius.

The IMD has not issued any severe weather warnings for Sunday. Coastal areas are also slated to see a high tide measuring 4.41 metres at 1:04 pm.
