IRCTC Chief Rahul Himalian Inspects Mumbai Catering Facilities and Tejas Express

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Chairman and Managing Director Rahul Himalian carried out a comprehensive inspection of catering facilities and services in Mumbai on August 17, officials said.

The review focused specifically on food quality, hygiene protocols, service standards, and passenger satisfaction across railway catering operations.

As part of his visit, Himalian travelled on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express. During the journey, he interacted directly with passengers to seek their feedback on the onboard catering and other services provided on the train.

Railway officials stated that the inspection aimed to evaluate and ensure service standards and food hygiene for commuters.
