John Abraham Gifts Film Title Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata To Kangana Ranaut

Actor Kangana Ranaut has revealed that fellow actor John Abraham handed over the registered film title 'Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata' to her without charging any fee. Speaking at the trailer launch event for her upcoming movie, which focuses on the heroic actions of nurses at Cama Hospital in Mumbai during the 26/11 terror attacks, Ranaut shared the details of the title change.
Originally, the film was slated to be released under the title 'Nurses of Cama'. This initial name served as a straightforward, direct reference to the medical professionals who worked through the 26/11 attacks at the hospital. However, as the development of the project progressed, the film's production team felt that the original title did not fully capture the deeper emotional core and the broader message they wanted to convey to the audience.
The creative team subsequently decided that 'Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata' would be a far more fitting title for the project. Upon looking into the availability of the name, they discovered that the title had already been officially registered under John Abraham's name.
Ranaut explained that when they approached Abraham regarding the title, he agreed to hand it over completely free of charge, without demanding a single rupee. She expressed deep appreciation for the gesture during the trailer launch event, pointing out that it is highly unusual for people in the Hindi film industry to give up registered titles easily, let alone without any financial compensation.
The film, now officially titled 'Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata', will depict the real-life bravery of the nurses at Cama Hospital during the Mumbai terror attacks. The successful title transfer allows the cinematic project to move forward under its new name, highlighting a rare moment of professional generosity between the two Bollywood actors.
