Kurla East Crane Crash Victim's Daughter Flags Parents Missing From BMC List

Muskan Qureshi has alleged that her parents' names have been left off the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) list of victims following a crane collapse in Kurla East during the early hours of Friday, August 21.
The incident took place when a hydraulic crane crashed onto high-tension railway overhead wires, falling onto and damaging the Qureshi family's residence in the Kurla East neighbourhood.
According to Qureshi, despite the extensive damage to her parents' home, the civic administration did not include their names on the official list of victims compiled and shared by the BMC in the aftermath of the crash.
A neighbour residing nearby, Razia Shaikh, also had a narrow escape when the crane collapsed onto the residential structure and railway infrastructure.
