Light to Moderate Rain Forecast Across Mumbai and Suburbs on Monday

Mumbai and its suburban areas are forecast to remain generally cloudy on Monday, August 24, with occasional spells of light to moderate rainfall expected throughout the day.

According to the weather update issued at 8 am, intermittent rain is anticipated to continue across both the island city and the suburbs.

Over the 24-hour window between 8 am on August 23 and 8 am on August 24, Mumbai recorded an average rainfall of 2.22 mm.

During the same 24-hour period, the eastern suburbs received an average of 4.71 mm of precipitation, while the western suburbs recorded an average rainfall of 3.80 mm.
