Maharashtra Congress Begins 10-Day Training Camp for District Chiefs in Nashik

The Maharashtra Congress on Monday launched a 10-day residential training camp in Nashik for its newly appointed district presidents selected under the party's Sanghatan Srujan Abhiyan initiative.

The programme has been designed to focus on core Congress ideology, organisational development, leadership skills, public outreach, and election management. Participants will also be guided on formulating strategies to address upcoming political challenges across the state.

According to the party, the primary objective of the camp is to strengthen communication channels between district-level leadership and grassroots workers.

The training camp was formally inaugurated in the presence of key party leaders, including Maharashtra Congress President Harshwardhan Sapkal and Congress Working Committee member Balasaheb Thorat.

Other prominent leaders attending the inaugural session included All India Congress Committee (AICC) training department head Sachin Rao, AICC Secretary and Maharashtra co-in-charge Rehana Chishti, Member of Parliament Dr Shobha Bachhav, and Maharashtra training department head Ashutosh Shirke.

Senior Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee leaders Mohan Joshi and Rajaram Pangavhane were also present at the event in Nashik. Over the course of the 10-day session, senior party leaders and domain experts will continue to mentor the newly appointed district chiefs on organisational strategy and grassroots mobilisation.
