Maharashtra Directs Departments to Fast-Track Maratha Community Issues

The Maharashtra government has instructed state departments to expedite action on pending issues related to the Maratha community, Water Resources Minister and chairman of the Maratha Reservation Cabinet Sub-Committee Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil announced following a review meeting at Mantralaya in Mumbai.

Speaking on Tuesday, Vikhe Patil stated that the state government is maintaining a positive approach towards addressing the demands raised by the Maratha community. He reviewed a range of concerns and matters during the meeting with officials at the state secretariat.

During the review, the minister directed the concerned departments to initiate immediate action on all pending matters. He also instructed officials to ensure that decisions already approved and finalized by the government are implemented on the ground without unnecessary delays.

The review meeting focused on tracking the progress of government initiatives and resolving administrative bottlenecks affecting community-related matters across various state departments.
