Maharashtra Plans Developed India Youth Conclave 2026 at Pune Balewadi Sports Complex

The Maharashtra government is planning to host a three-day youth festival, titled 'Developed India Youth Conclave - 2026', at the Balewadi sports complex in Pune. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis discussed the details of the upcoming event during a planning meeting held at his official residence on Wednesday.

The conclave will center on sports, innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and culture. It is expected to attract around 1,000 delegates, with 300 representatives from Maharashtra and the rest arriving from various parts of the country. Organisers also anticipate over one lakh footfalls from across the state throughout the event.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Fadnavis stated that a large amount of central funds would be made available under the 'Khelo India' scheme. He directed state officials to focus on effective participation in central schemes.

Fadnavis also stressed the need for private sector investment and public-private partnerships in the sports sector. He instructed the administration to ensure coordination with corporate sports foundations to help develop sports infrastructure across the state.
